A 3-day festival of guided hikes on trails in South Cumberland State Park, workshops, ART for the PARK, native plant sale, and free children's events including ropes course, hayrides, and wildlife. This unique event, held on the historic Monteagle Sunday School Assembly grounds, is a fundraiser for the Friends of South Cumberland-one of the leading land preservation groups in the state.

Trails & Trilliums - now a starred date on the spring calendars of hikers, gardeners, wildflower enthusiasts, and art lovers, is truly a blooming success. April is peak wildflower season on the Cumberland Plateau, and each year the naturalists attend in "phlox." The Monteagle Assembly grounds with its charming cottages, creeks and gardens is an ideal spot for the festival. With guided hikes on many of the South Cumberland's most scenic trails, a topnotch native plant sale, workshops on garden design and native plants, music, ART for the PARK, and children's events. Trails & Trilliums has something for everyone who loves the out of doors.
